STARTED
I've been a full-time wedding photographer for 8 years, but my journey began at 16 when I started studying photography in the Netherlands. I previously assisted in the fashion photography world but I always craved more genuine connections within my work. It all changed when my first wedding got published on a Dutch wedding blog that was a huge achievement for me at that time and realized that capturing weddings was the most rewarding and fulfilling path for me.
I strive to blend documentary and editorial styles. My hope is to inspire couples to see that weddings can break from tradition and can be cool, passionate, intimate and creative events!

I can’t stress enough that we must remember that this is your intimate real-life celebration and NOT a competition who hosts the best wedding event. This is your unique story to tell and it will be simply perfect the way it is.
So I don't like to work for, I love to work with. Let's focus on creating together instead of that real old traditional stuff and/or most followed Pinterest trends.
I will document your love in it's purest form. Just heart-warming love with that extra bit of spice.

Portraits start at 399,- euro (ex. taxes) for 1 hour photography with around 50-75 photos included.

STORY
There's not one standard formula for the real good pics, every story is different. And so, every approach is as well.
Yet in every story I will always focus on how it felt and what is happening naturally. I don’t stage moments, I’ll anticipate them. And additionally, I’ll integrate my own style into the mix. In the end - this is all about you, your person and all your loved ones around.
There’s endless of beautiful, aesthetic and meaningful photo opportunities happening at your wedding.

First things first Svenja, Pricing.
My prices start at 2900,- euro with a small coffee table album and online website gallery included. Reach out for a complete price indication for your own unique day. I can also provide album pics and gallery examples.
How many pics do we get?
You'll get approximately 500 photo's for the first standard 6 hours, but it will get more depending on how many hours extra you book. You will receive the whole selection in around 6-8 weeks. (possibly longer depending on the season) 1 day after your wedding I will provide you with a preview that you can easily share with friends and family!
Can you help us with posing?
Yes yes yes! Just embrace the moment and simply trust me! I promise you that we are in this together :) I totally got your back, will be your honest hype girl. There's absolutely no right or wrong here. Perfection lays in the imperfect moments and there's beauty within all the feelings and emotions right?
Do you share RAW files?
Nope, sorry! I carefully select all the right images and edit all the photos in Lightroom. I do not share raw files with any clients. Editing is where an artist style comes to life and I will deliver high resolution edited images. You'll thank me for it!
How do we book you?
Very easy! We zoom, chat, laugh, see if we match and if it’s all to your liking - I’ll send over a small contract and invoice your way.

Cool! I'm able to share with you all that I have learned over the last years. I can help you plan the whole time-table if need be, find the right location, a MUA artist in your area or give advice on the right outfits to wear. We’ll figure it out together :)
How early on should we reach out?
If you are reading this - I would say now! :) I take weddings based on if we are on the same page and only a limited amount per year. Just so that I can focus on giving you the full experience you deserve!
Do you travel?
Ohh YES! Count me in. I’ve been lucky enough to travel for weddings in the US, Guatemala, Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain and in the Netherlands. I have many bucket list places I would love to visit. As I said, my passport is ready ;)
